High School Dual Enrollment
Accelerate Your College Academic Journey

Dual enrollment opportunities at GCU provide high school students with an affordable and efficient option to gain a head start on earning their college degree.*

As a dual enrollment student, you will receive the same quality instruction, accessible resources and academic rigor as our traditional students.

We ensure you are academically prepared to transition into college at an advanced level, with the possibility to graduate early and enter your career sooner.

Course Options

  • At Your High School: Study at the college level without leaving your high school. Qualified high school teachers incorporate GCU curriculum into learning materials, which enables you to receive high school and college credit at the same time. (Only available in Arizona)

  • Online: Earn college credits conveniently online. GCU offers more than 25 online courses available to high school students. Each class is seven weeks long with start dates available year-round.

  • Summer: Experience college life at GCU early by taking on-campus courses as part of our summer session program. As you learn at the college level, you will also learn more about the college experience and what to expect in the fall as a new Lope.

Transferability

Dual enrollment credits easily transfer into GCU degree programs. As a regionally accredited university, we accept dual enrollment credits just as we accept transfer credits. You may take up to 32 credits (8 courses) at a reduced tuition rate. If you attend GCU, you will be eligible for freshman scholarships.
